Local-first by design
Synaxi processes your AI requests on your own machine. Your prompts, conversations, and model responses are not routed through or stored on Synaxi's servers. This is the foundation of our security posture: data that never leaves your device can't be breached on ours.
Data in transit
Connections between your machine and the AI providers you choose use the providers' own encrypted endpoints. Account authentication and any anonymous metrics we collect are transmitted over TLS.
Account security
Free accounts are protected by industry-standard authentication. We recommend a strong, unique password. Credentials are stored hashed, never in plain text.
Enterprise deployment
The Enterprise tier supports self-hosting in your own VPC, so sensitive traffic and audit logs stay entirely within your infrastructure. Access controls and request-level audit logging are available for teams that need them.
Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you've found a security issue, we want to hear about it. Please email hello@synaxi.ai with details. We'll acknowledge your report and work with you on a fix. Please give us reasonable time to address the issue before any public disclosure.
